In Royalhouse Chapel we believe children are a gift from God! We love kids and are committed to teaching them about Jesus. Child Dedication is our way of publicly declaring that commitment and partnering with parents to help raise their children in God’s House.
In Royalhouse Chapel, children are dedicated, not baptized. This is because of the scriptural precedent set by the Lord Jesus Christ through His water baptism. He was baptized at the age of thirty as a fully grown and matured person. It is quite obvious from His example that the decision to be baptized should be made by a person who is matured enough to understand the doctrine of sin, repentance and salvation; and old enough to decide of his/her own accord to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Saviour.
Child Dedications are held throughout the year on the last Sunday of each month which also doubles up as our family service.
